Launch Day! ♥

At the start of January we were finally able to share our new endeavor with the world. Naturally, it was extremely nerve racking, but being able to speak about ThroughFilm and connect with like-minded businesses and individuals has been a very rewarding experience. So it’s safe to say we’ve really enjoyed our first month in business.

ThroughFilm was built from our love for creating films that make a difference. Both Sian and I have always felt the most accomplished when we’ve worked on projects that have an impact, where we’ve been able to work closely with individuals and get to the heart of their stories. That is the core of ThroughFilm, and it runs through everything we do.

We also love working with corporate clients! You get to see things that you usually wouldn’t in your every day life. You go on different industrial sites, where you’re surrounded by complex and impressive structures, witness innovative technology, see thriving business cultures, and sometimes even document when companies give back to their communities, which has always been a treat to film. So it’s really important to us to build those long lasting partnerships and make video more accessible for everyone.

Being able to merge the two together and build a business where we can document the unity and collaboration between the two worlds, and have a business model where the Volunteer and Community Sector are able to access affordable, high quality video production has been the dream, and it’s now our reality. We’re so grateful for the reception we received on our launch day, the support has been mind blowing and continues to solidify our belief that ThroughFilm has a place here.
