3, 2, 1 Launch!

Creative Central Newcastle is a place for creatives to thrive in central Newcastle, it’s such an awesome initiative, led by people who truly care about making this successful. We were asked to film the launch event, which consisted of talks, collaboration, live illustration on the day and poetry created DURING the event. The event was hosted in the Alphabetti Theatre in Newcastle which is a venue with immense character.

Being in that environment inspired us to create something unique, something that fuses their brand and ethos, something built from passion for creativity. It really felt like we were creating a piece of artwork with this film.

We decided to use the poetry performance as the basis of the narrative, and used B-ROLL shot on the day, along with photos to add extra layers to the footage, and tied it all together with the CCN brand assets, fusing all of those elements together allowed us to put together a film representative of the brand.
