Saabat Gallery
“The best revenge is to love well.”
Film two in the collection for Civil Society Consulting as part of their Steps to Togetherness initiative, which is funded by The National Lottery. Saabat Gallery is an art gallery based in South Bank, that is not only a gallery, but a safe haven for the community. They have a number of workshops, starting from gardening to art and family activities, and they welcome everyone with open arms. The gallery is full of beautiful art, authenticity and a huge sense of community. These films now live online, but were also showcased at a Celebrating Togetherness Conference where leaders from organisations from all corners of the country came together to learn from each other, support one another, and share their stories.
If you’re in the area, we highly recommend giving Saabat Gallery a visit!

“We have created multiple videos with ThroughFilm, including our own where Judy and Sian have come to film our events and films for our partner organisations.
Sian and Judy are an absolute pleasure to work with, providing the best advice and opportunities for feedback every step of the way.
Sian and Judy have also given fantastic workshops with tips and tricks for VCS organisations on how to communicate their purpose and impact through film.
These films have been a crucial source for showcasing our initiatives and the impact of those we support. We cannot thank them enough!”
